Junior licence to adult licence ? Victoria

Post by huntingfishingand4x4 » 10 Jun 2019, 11:59 am

Hi everyone, I’m currently 17 and just wondering when I turn 18 what is the go for my licence does it automatically change over to my adults. Could someone please clarify what will happen, and also if I need a genuine reason should I put both target and hunting? Thanks

No it doesn't automatically change over. Sorry. You'll have to go through the whole safety course again and reapply again as though you never had a license.
Makes me wonder what the point of a junior license is!

Dear Noisydad,
Money, plain and simple. It also placates their power mad attitude as to how they can shaft us at every level. An example of this is changing from Cat 1 Collector to Cat 2, if you pay for your Cat 1 3 year renewal and then a month or 2 later you decide to upgrade to Cat 2, you pay for that licence in full and no refund whatever for your recently paid Cat 1. Ask why a longarm PTA is $9 but a handgun PTA is $50? Cheers, (and happy smoking to you fellow charcoal burner!)
