I hate you Victoria...

Not really, just getting riled up by a mate who lives in Vic.

He put in his PTA this morning and said he'd call me when it came back.

Got the call about and hour and a quarter later to rub it in my face

Now, now. Have some patience.

Be a boy and just want the year and a half or however long it is by now to get your permit :P

Vic definitely seem to have the cream of the crop for our licensing systems.

Can't argue with that electronic PTA that dealers can do, and all that state forest you can head out into.

Fingers cross for everyone that other states follow Victoria's example instead of the other way around.

My local does the turn around in 15 minutes. If they have the calibre I want and I have the cash it's literally 15 minutes.

If you submit your PTA on paper it takes a few weeks with snail mail and all that.

If you get your LGS to do it on computer you usually get it back within a few hours... Next day at the latest.

VIC have it gooood :D

I literally waited a year for my A/B license and still had to wait another month before they would even look at my PTA. Then it took 3 weeksssss after that before I could buy. With electronic in qld it still takes a few days. There is no way you are getting 15 min turnaround with the current system.

I've never a PTA take 15 minutes, but it's never days.

4-5 hours isn't unusual for them to get turned around here in VIC.
