Shouldn't have to lock it up when I was a kid of 17 I had 5 rifles and a shotgun hanging on my bedroom wall .....
This was a crime involving a firearm he should get 30 years no parole .....

Yeah I’ve seen some pretty tidy Remington 700s.
I reckon this one of those ‘5 seconds ‘ of poor decision making that is going to cause a world of pain for this particular f-wit.

What about the dealer whose security is so slack?
Can't imagine there will be much of an upside for them either.

Real good look this, the antis will be soiling their lacy panties with glee.

30 years... understanding that the tax payer has to build the jails and support these people for 30 years... the whole time exposing them to other crooks...

Yep prison needs to be a growth industry in aus as this leftward s**t defennetly is not working and these prisons need to be self sustaining just like a lot of the US.
And yep this means these scum have to leave their time away ...

Deye, I heartily agree we need stiffer sentences for lots of crimes, no bail ever for repeat offenders and much more, including corporal punishment, but the US model is definitely not the way to go.
Just one of the many reasons below.

This is yet another typical scumbag media spin job . They seem to have forgotten to mention or show the part of the security video where old mate cuts the cable the rifle was secured with before he makes off with it. He was apparently in the store and on camera for about 7 mins.
