Kudos to Vic police licensing & regulations for help

I know everyone likes to have a bash at the cops now and then...

I've had my share of rants after getting a ticket  but credit where it's due.

Between moving houses and a paperwork bungle by my LGS, I had a few issues with my licensing and permit. You hear these horror stories about some t not being crossed or some i not dotted and people losing their license or going to court and all this...

After emailing Vic pol to try and clear a few things up though, I got a phone call from a super friendly guy, all sorted and gave me some info about additional firearms info I wanted while I had him on the phone.

Despite the trash talk you read here and there, dealing with them was all good.

Hardly the horror story I'd expect judging by some peoples feedback.

I've always had pleasant dealings with them.
They are a top bunch of people and work quite hard, and hardly get the recognition they deserve.

Good on ya for +1ing them.

Same as anywhere really... you can get one miserable bastard who makes life difficult for everyone and these are the only stories you hear.

I read something ages ago that was something like-

If someone has a great experience, they tell 2 people.
If their expectations are met they don't tell anyone.
If they have a bad experience they tell 15 people.
