Pump actions with 13 shot mag laws?

Post by feedr » 12 Nov 2013, 12:36 pm

I'm after some clarification on pump action centre fire rifles with magazines.

I thought the limit was 10 for cat B, I see the same rifles with 13 shot mags on some reviews and that kind of thing on the net.

Not sure if I'm reading a US website since it doesn't say the location.

Is it 10 shots anyway for pump action magazine rifles?

Whether it's pump or bolt action doesn't effect the magazine limit.

It's 10.

If you were looking at an Australian website though they either had the appropriate license for the larger capacity magazine, or more likely the magazine was fitted with a stopper so it could only be used as a 10 shot mag.
See you on the firing line.

Sounds most likely like modified mag.

Dealers/gunsmiths do the work and sign off on it for transferring to lower license holder I think.
