28 day cooling then as long as it takes them. The whole system is being upgraded however I made application for a .243 BRNO .22 Hornet and a CBC shotgun filled in all the paperwork showed my new security as I have moved and paid all the fees and it took about 3 weeks.I already have Cat B firearms and a Reg 6 roo licence so that may have made it easier

I put in an additional a short while ago, and it took exactly three weeks including postage to a country town. have you gotten the letter asking if you still wish to proceed yet?

No I have received nothing at this moment. Just curious as to how long it can take.

Hi Spud.

I applied 20th November
Recieved the initial letter after a month - however I rang after 28 days to check on progress.
Recieved licence 4th December and the exctract photo ID 12th December.

Mine was an initial for 3 x rifles.
