Hi all.
Am i legally allowed to get a pistol grip stock for my howa mini-action in nsw?
Looking at getting a MDT LSS CHASSIS

I do recall reading that anything folding stock is what is banned. Not sure on others as looking at one website the non folding items have no prohibited warnings.

I would send an email to NSW Firearms and get the answer in writing.
I think pistol grips are fine, although I think in ACT pistol grips are okay for target but not for hunting, or something along those lines?
NSW doesn't allow shortening a firearm at all, so you would need a fixed stock on the MDT chassis. I know the buffer tube folding stock adapter is not legal in NSW for sure.

Pistol grip is perfectly legal in NSW as I own several, it's the folding / collapsible butt stocks that are not allowed.
