WA if looks could kill

Question for the brains trust, I was in my LGS yesterday asking about the Tikka T3X Tac A1 but was told these would not be available in WA due to the fore end of the stock enclosing the barrel???
At the same time, I was told that the Ruger Precision rifle was not available due to the folding stock (ok I can understand that)
I have had a quick look at the act but cant find anything.
is everyone in WA being told the same thing?

WA can make firearms law by regulation. Does not need to be in the Act but, more or less at the whim of the Police Comissioner.

Its rather like saying you can' t put wings on the back of your car.
