Rules on shooting clays on private land in nsw

What is the go if you want to shoot clays on private land is it the land holders choice or is there some bull s**t rule that says its a no go

No you can shoot clays, my family has a thrower in our property.

That doesn't mean it's legal.

It seems to be a bit of a grey area, I would suggest take a look at this thread;

In the thread linked above, a post that contains a transcript with the Firearms Registry states that you are allowed to sight in on private land but aside from that only shoot if you are hunting which would rule out clay target shooting unless you were only shooting a few "to test your sights and/or get warmed up".

That being said I'm sure as long as your neighbours don't complain about it... ;)
