Vic Cat A/B license wait

Post by Conallin24 » 23 Aug 2017, 8:08 pm

Hey guys I know you get this question a lot. My dad sent his license application exactly 35 days (5 weeks) tomorrow (Thursday) and it hasn't come back. I did mine a year ago and it took maybe 32 days but I wanted to see why it is taking so long. My guess is they can't keep up with the the amount of applications the way they used to be. Anyway any help appreciated, Campbell.

28 days + postage, etc. Should be getting it this or next week. If everything is correct.

I know for VIC they are still running behind.
I've sent in for a renewal, but its taking longer than expected.
The expiry date on my licence is next week... I've spoken to them, its all good, they have received my papers so licence is still valid.
But yeah, it is fair to expect some delay until they are on top of the applications again..

LRD are way behind on everything at the moment, talking to them yesterday they said the amnesty is taking a lot of time, and that they have been ordered to give it priority over all other things. I've finally had one admit there funding has been slashed by more than 30%, and staff levels have also been cut, whilst work has increased. We will all be waiting until this bulls**t amnesty nonsense is over before "normal service resumed".
