Shotgun Slugs Vic

Been asking around and have been getting mixed answers but as far as I’m awear we can’t legally get shotgun slugs in the state of Victoria is this true?

That's news to me, but I've never tried to buy any.
But it's pretty easy to cast them yourself and a hell of a lot cheaper than buying them.

Not only are they legal, they're required to hunt deer out of a shotgun in VIC i happen to love my 12g slugs always have at least two packets in the safe they don't sit around for long :twisted: and hit like a freight train!

They certainly hit hard :-)
But accuracy leaves a bit to be desired I've found.

Naah mate, my bolt action 12g can group some brands like a clover if my shoulders feeling ok :lol:

Accuracy can be hit and miss. Austac is lucky.

Yes now legal for deer in Victoria. So must be available.

I think they were banned or restricted for a while back in the 80s.

Casting and loading is cheap and fairly easy.

Definitely legal in Victoria. Mate buys them for his Silma o/u slug gun

Australia's Slug Master lives in Vic, Brother Bentaz can answer just about any question you have about slugs :)
