"Hearing" welfare of Gundogs.

It absolutely boggles my mind that someone would, at the drop of a hat, buy a $100-200 pair of ear-pro for themselves, but not care about the dogs that would do anything for them. Even stay alongside their master as he blows out their ears.

I prefer to look after dogs hearing too, but I think that hearing protection would struggle in some applications like through heavy scrub chasing and lugging pigs. I think you make a decision on your dogs health relative to the hobby, it basically gets' drafted' lol and thats just how it works. A lot of dogs get torn up or end their lives pigging too.
