Bought a Boito 410 double

Anyone else owned one of these? Its the 26" barrel SXS model, quite hefty for a 410. Still havent used it yet, impulse buy. I dont own a 12ga or really need one so this will fit the bill( whatever bill that is).

I did find some interesting albeit expensive shotshells for it. B&P 3/4oz No.5 shot and 5 Pellet 000 buck loads which is also a 3/4 oz load. Basically 20 gauge payloads in a 410.

I'm just curious, why did you pick the 26 inch and not the 20 inch?
I'm thinking of getting one soon, just can't decide between a 20 or 26 inch.

Yer, I've been looking at one of these for a while. There ain't much choice out there for a 410 double. There's the odd Beretta at >2.5k second hand. Or, you can buy a junk turk, which i definitely won't be doing. Been there done that with junk turk shotties.
I know that it's from Brazil, which ain't great, but it's about the best option.

410 can get pricey for ammo ,my brother had a boito in 12g when he was younger ,man that thing copped a flogging ,if memory serves me he broke the firing pin from dry firing it too many times but that all ,they are cheap and pretty much indestructable
