Beretta sp1 or browning gp sporter

Hi, getting into shooting clays and cannot make up my mind on which shotty. Ive shouldered both and both fit me fine which makes the decision even harder. Both are close in price and from what I have read the gp is basically a 525 but with a modern looking receiver and ejection on/off. I'm leaning towards the gp mainly because I personally think it will hold it's value better down the track if I was to sell it. Sp1's are going for $1700-1900 used. It's doing my head in haha, some opinions would be appreciated thank you's.

have owned a SP1 and have shot using a GP Sporter, both are excellent guns, just see what feels best in your hands, and what fits you best. I own and have owned a mix of both Beretta's and Brownings, along with others. You can't go wrong with either guns you've listed just go down to your LGD and choose what feels best for you. As a suggestion also ask your LGD about the SP1 Classic, its an upgraded SP1 with better wood and engraving, the ones I've seen all have amazing wood, and seem to be excellent value.
hope I helped a bit.
