been a while since i looked into the pardus, i watched all the vids and reviews, it seemed to cycle better out of the box but had ejection issues (IIRC).

but yeah an adler with a slick kit and low brass seems to work allright.

One of my local gun shops has a pardus and cant sell it due to the fact he cant say anthing postive about them. I know of a few people that have had a fair few issues with the firing pin bending send it back for repairs and 3 shots later the firing pin bent the other way. I know adlers have their issues but from what ive seen and read they have there flaws.

Main reason for looking at the pardus was that the action did not move the entire trigger system thus was a fair bit lighter to cycle...but the adler slick kits look to resovle that anyway.

Pardus owner

Dont get one. My experience was great at the start with almost no problems

As time went on the gun has started to fall apart and i'm almost certain the lever is going to snap. The soft alloy metal is not durable at all.

If only a decent brand made a lever action shotty....or if pumps we're in the some category as levers (which they should be) then we could get something from a reputable brand.

Gotta love buying second hand guns, sight unseen...
Not sure how the owner packed it, but I’m going to send him some extra cash to get him to send that back to me - as my 20” barrel grew to 28” in transit...so hoping cash will do same.
Going to take 5 boxes of 7.5 to range today and see what she does.

I can't speak for the Alpharms but I can say that I've given my Adler an absolute hiding and it hasn't missed a beat.

It's been used as a bullbar on the front of the quad when smashing through the brush scrub.
It's been filled with dust and dirt, washed with degreaser, hosed clean with water, blown dry and re lubed like a dirty old bike chain.
It's been used in its "rapid fire" mode to empty those pesky surplus boxes of cartridges over and over again... and after all that it's still the same high powered, rapid fire, game changing, loophole jumping, greatest threat to the nation’s gun law regimen since the Port Arthur massacre shotgun that it was when I first got it.
Gun control requires concentration and a steady hand
