Yes I want to remove the god awful sticker on the barrel of my new MK70. Whats the best way without scratching the gun?

Heat gun / hair dryer and plastic scraper / credit card...

A damp cloth on car rego stickers for a few minutes used to make them peel easy.the oil trick would be my next go

Carefully lift a corner of the sticker with your fingernail and sloooowwly and gently peel the sticker keeping even pressure along the full width of the peel.
The sticker will come off without leaving adhesive or the risk of a tool leaving a mark.
If it doesn't use only hydrocarbon solvents like turps which is very effective on nearly all self adhesive residue.
