Frankolin BT3000 straight-pull

Hey guys just thought I'd share my experience with the BT3000 12G.

I bought it on a whim as I wanted a 12G to round out the safe. I was initially looking at the Adler straight pull (B220? B230?) but was told it had already sold and he wouldn't be able to get any more... but had an alternative in the Frankolin.

Turkish made, similar price point, and side by side felt much nicer than the near identical Adler. Smoother action and more positive, if that makes sense, and didn't need as much finesse to cycle. Throw the decent-looking ghost-ring sights at it and some chokes with a small integral compensator on the tip of the barrel and I was sold.

I went out to a creekbed to test it with some target loads initially, it went just fine. Smooth cycling, nice recoil pad, easy to reload and no dramas at all. Swings and points nicely too, the pistol grip helps here.

Overall I'd highly recommend it. Anyone else picked up one of these?
