Hamie MH-12 Worst Handling Shotgun Ever

Post by mchughcb » 12 Dec 2021, 9:21 am

I've tried some ill fitting shotguns in my time but yesterday I got to hold a MH-12 and it takes the cake.

The forend is so wide I can barely get my hands around it. The stock its shiite and you look through stupid ring that blocks your vision.

Seriously my old single barrel IJ-18 handled better.

If you are thinking of offloading $2000 on this, save your money and get a Miroku Mk70.

Was no surprise. Even the gunsmith couldn't stop laughing when he was trying to sell it to me. I was looking for the closest bin.

Not sure what type of market they are targeting with this type of shotgun but definitely not for me. Not even close.

Where are they made ??

And I thought the old single barrel Boito I had as a teenager was pretty crude.
Which cost me the princely sum of $35 (new)

Boito and Bentley used to be trash years ago. If this new thing feels disgusting it’s probably why I have not heard of them If my 500 dollar Adler points beautiful u have to wonder why something so bad is asking 2000

It would find a market at $800 odd.
Definitely not for the wooden gun brigade that's for sure.

I don't think you could pay me enough to own one. You can just tell by looking at them that they won't be fit for purpose

Shooting stuff Australia did a review of the MH-12 on his youtube channel. It looked very heavy and awkward to cycle the thing, I'm fairly sure you could stuff shells into an ejector SxS or U/O faster than you could cycle thins thing (well, for the first one or two reloads anyway).

Shooting stuff Australia is hilarious however if they found a problem with it, then at least they are being honest. I'm hearing they sell but mainly for the people that just want to plink stuff, not serious hunting.
