Brasso polish in the tumbler the way to go?

I use a little bit of brasso in mine the world didn't end

I have tried brass o in my tumbler but in the end my corn cob media gets so yuck it just needs to be replaced

Don't use brasso as it contains ammonia and that's bad for the brass as it hardens it .
Stainless steel pins are the way to go . If the cases are only slightly tarnished rinse them in a solution of warm water ( not hot ) and CLR 1 cup CLR to 1 litre of warm water . Then rinse them off in hotter water and dry them out with a hair drier . Tumbler and Ultrasonic cleaning additives should be mild acids not alkaline substances .
