Hi folks, I'm buying a 12g sxs from a friend.

The gun came from a deceased estate with no info.

There is no brand or model No. that I can see, it's a bit rough on the outside but shoots well and is tight.

Was wondering if anyone could shine some light on it for me please.

It's a Spanish gun, bears the post-1931 Eibar proof marks including the additional 12.090 psi Nitro Proof mark.mark

I downloaded the barrel flats photo so I could have a closer look, it is Proof Dated 1974, max proof pressure 12801 psi. Marked for 2 3/4" cartridges, I can't find MOS in my list of makers codes, were there any stamps on the action flats?

It is a Spanish gun going by those marks. 1410 GMOS is the weight of the barrels GMOS is grams. 900Kgs is the proof pressure. The 3 symbols from left to right are the spanish proof house stamp followed by the black powder stamp then the smokeless stamp. The 12-70 means it is for standard 12g 2 3/4" loads. The stars on the barrels are 1 star = full choke and 3= 3/4 choke which is a typical field gun. 18.6 is the internal diameter of the barrels and fairly standard.
The P.G is the maker Pedro Gorosabel and S1 should mean a manufacture date of 1974

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Amazing depth of knowledge on this forum.
I didn't think it was anything special but I like the way it feels and shoots.
