Interesting in socars vid in mentions twin gas pistons.
Which the m4 has, but a rather unique system ahead of the chamber. Possibly it has this ?

Yeah saw these were announced a month or so ago and I think they just came out yesterday (At least according to Sulun's socials). Really interested in the 14" model, but according to cleavers its prohibited in Vic, so that's just awesome...

In theory a 3 inch magnum shell in a 14 inch barrel could set a pig on fire.

I'll say it, I hate the look of the Lever and where it's located.

I have one of the 14" models on order, they are due to arrive in Australia late March.
It will be for 3-gun steel challenge shoots so should be just about perfect for those with faster follow up shots than any straight pull even if they do hold fewer rounds.

I also heard that there are plans in progress in QLD, and possibly Australia wide, for the banning of the Bushmaster lever release (the one with the button on the fore-end) as it cycles as fast as a semi-auto with the same (zero) disruption to the hand position on the firearm during cycling.

That’s just the first vid that came up. It’s not hard to do. Fast as you can trigger it will fire. Used to own one when they were legal, handed it in because I’m an idiot. And that was like 40 years ago and I still to this day haven’t shot up any cafeterias in historical sites on some dumb island.
From memory it was used as backup artillery when rabbits ran into the blackberries.

Existing legislation dose’nt prohibit the bushmaster. So if they ban it, will only be because they’re assholes, no other reason.
People can learn to fire any repeating rifle or shotgun fast. Even bolt actions https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uLux-H_C5iM easilly as fast as the bushmaster.

Received mine a while back and absolutely love it.
At first it didn’t cycle all ammo well but now it’s had a few rounds down it it’s fine (all rounds have been 2 3/4).
The 6+1 does ghosts load so it can be a 6+2.
Left it with all standard sights and just attached a OLIGHT (flash/laser) to it and you’re good to go.

The only complaint when operating trigger and lever with index finger and middle finger the edge on the lever does leave you with a sore finger after a while.

I was really excited for the Tacsoras and was waiting ages until it released hahaha. Have to say I'm really disappointed with the location of the lever, it sticks out like a sore thumb and it being a Cat B is a deal breaker when it comes to capacity. I would've preferred if it utilised the push-button system instead of lever release. If Sulun released a PB version with the same button placement as the Buckmaster it would be my dream, especially if it came with a factory 7+1 capacity. Too bad you can't expect too much in this country.

Ain't too many videos of anybody busting clays with the Tacsoras so that is the proof in the pudding if the rapid fire has any useful purpose, apart from shooting watermellons or fence posts.

Practical Shotgun / IPSC Shotgun is where the tacsoras will shine.

Feel free to try it after you get a knee or hip replacement.

I often go out to the farm and shoot a few clays and as for speed I think it’s alright as per the below link.
And I’m sure you can dump a full tube even quicker with more practice.

Looks like the doohickey just holds the lifter and if so that is interesting. Surely it must lock something else also.

My mate's uncle just got one of these. Doing some testing using snap caps, the lever is sweet. I reckon it is what a butterfly knife is to an automatic knife (true semi auto).

Will never be quite as quick and 'idiot proof' but if you practice enough, it will get pretty darn close in shot speed, more then enough for most applications and faster than pump.

Hell remember a lever action was quick enough reloading for Arnie in T2

There's a few I've seen who place their middle finger on the release lever for that speed you talk of.

Hi all. Has anyone bought an aftermarket handguard that fits Tacsouras well? Saw another thread for Tac-12 where someone installed Briley 8” M-LOK guard, but not sure where to get it in Aus.
