Hi mate, I have the buckmaster in the walnut 28" barrel. Have used the 20" synthetic also. As big pete says the gun governs where your pointing hand holds the forend. It is a long way forward, akin to how one holds a s x s on the barrels, not the forend wood, if that makes sense.
Quality is like all Turkish guns, this one is on par with the verney carron veloce, that is to say very poor,( But opinions are relative to what you're used to I guess, it would be unfair to compare these guns with a dt11 or invictus trap or something along those lines) in final machining and fit and finish. The barrels look very similar through a borescope, that is to say the quality of the hard chrome is not there.
The pb12 has cycled everything I have run through it, far more reliably than the v.c. but haven't tried anything less than 32g loads and solids. The release is actually quite stiff to use, however some discreet lapping and polishing would slick it up. And incidentally, after a few boxes of shells you can actually cycle and fire a lot faster than in the Ozzie reviews video.
I guess if you treat it like a novelty they are ok, but certainly not worth $1500 let alone the v.c. at $3600, but if money is no object and you don't mind crap I could part with the verney.
