hi guys , i have a 410 marlin leaver that i purchased new just have in the back of the ute for remote travel/camping you never know when you have to put down an animal after has been hit by car or truck. anyway have been looking into them and the are bringing in a few $$$ the rifle is still in excellent condition are these things a collectable rifle now ?
should i get another 410 for travel and leave the leaver in the safe
what would you guys do

Sound like you like it a lot.

Seems like a hassle to buy one, shelf one, then still have a .410 in the ute like before you started...

I reckon give it some work as well.

I'd only sell if it you aren't into it any more.

You'd hate to part with one in excellent condition for a few bucks and regret it. You'd probably end up buying one back which wasn't as good :(

I would never sell it it's just such a nice rifle and they are not making them anymore and can pick up a 410 single shot for $250

Ah right, when you said they are bringing in a few $$ I assumed you meant you might sell it.

I totally get where your coming from, keeping it tucked away safely.

I think I'd have trouble resisting the urge to keep it away :)

If you have a JM Marlin Model 410 keep it, they only made them for about a year... the later ones are marked as a 336.
I have one, it is the most useful, accurate, little scrub gun; they are magic on pigs with Winchester solids in close! and those sights work.
