Chacka is right that it's just one of those things.

Easy to set it wrong or for wear to cause slippage.

Easy enough to fix though too.

Got it back on the 4th so about a month to fix, they said had to polish the sears as they were sticking?
Need to get out and give it a try.

Some triggers can have a bit of a gritty pull, typically you would polish the sear to smooth that out.

I suppose it's possible some burring or chatter marks were stopping it from engaging 100%.

They have to disassemble it to polish anyway, in putting it back together they would have made sure the engagement was correct.

Only one way to see ;)

Took it out last weekend and went through 2 boxes without a problem, so happy that its all sorted.
