mine shoots the bottom barrel at around my point of aim and the top barrel a bit high at 30y, the bottom barrel fires first and the top second so it makes sense it shoots higher as the target may well be further away

the best way to find out whats going on is to pattern is and have someone analyse your technique, it may be that your head isn't down inline with the rib which may have it shooting high. this can be a fit issue

Dedicated trap guns are designed to fire high as the target is always rising, I can't get my head around the theory so am never going to be a top trap shooter as I don't have a trap specific gun.

Not sure on the akkar but if you know where it is shooting(patterning is good) your brain adapts, I would have thought most shotguns of that price range were field guns.

I have five shotguns and have issues at times so for field shooting I use the same gun most of the time as when I shoot it is a fairly consistant 50/50 spread of shot at aimpoint.

Practice, if you have to think about it you won't shoot well, as previously noted you don't actually aim a shotgun you look at the target.

Skip 20m, too close. Go 30m as it'll be closer to the distances you'd typically be shooting at.

Is sounding like a fit issue to me.

Got a buddy to take along? Have them watch you and have them shoot to see how it comes up with a different shooter behind the wheel.

yes though i took it straight in and they fixed it . :D
every time i went to change it from top to bottom it wouldn’t fire .
i'd have to switch it back to the way I had it before in order to work again . he told me what was wrong when I went to collect i but to be honest I forgot because all i wanted to do is take it to the range to make sure it was fixed.
