Can anyone tell me about Uzkon shotguns?

I see their single back 12 gauge T5 is only $265. Could be some cheap fun.

Worth looking at?

They've recently started advertising them in the SSAA mag is all I know of them.

Super cheap though.

You'd have to be seriously sceptical about the quality :?:

$265 damn.

A bag, sling and bipod costs you more than that.

Picked up a singe barrel Sportco for $150 in good nick. Australian made and nearly half the price of a new Uzkon.

I didn't realise they were so cheap second hand.

That might be even better option for now :)

I bought an Uzkon UZ15-1280 today. It's a tube fed 12 ga pump. Holds 4 rounds +1.. That makes 9 rounds. $329 CDN.
Barrel is about 14" (355 mm) and about 31" overall. The stock compresses to become say 6" shorter. Butt stock also holds 4 rounds.
The store says a rail can be purchased for a light. It has a recess for a sling but not sling included. You do get 3 chokes and a choke wrench. Warranty 1 year. The barrel and receiver are steel.
The furniture is all polycarbonate, black and matches the steel finish.
The right hand goes on the pistol grip, the left on the slide. All controls are ambidextrous.
There is a front post sight but no rear sight. I don't want or need one.
I examined it twice before buying. The fit and finish are very good. The action is tight and wants a little muscle to load the mag and chamber the shells. But if you operate the pump briskly it chambers and ejects shells fine. It likes to be held level and so the ejection port is on the right side. It holds 3" and 2 3/4 shells but I had 2 3/4" 00 buckshot so i tried that.
I plan to try 2 new shotguns out next weekend at the skeet club.
Controls are a thumb safety and a slide release forward of the trigger guard. I guess the slide locks when the tube is empty but not certain. It could be trigger that controls it.
I would have liked to see a hand stop on the slide, though I don;t plan to do rapid fire much if at all. Why? There was the Yank who rapid fired his Keltec 12 ga and shot off his left hand, which slipped forward. I may fab and install a small stop myself, or install the rail and light forward of my hand hold.
Hard to believe the barrel is legal here but it is made that way so it's legal.

I would like to mount a flashlight to the UZKON AS-41 I bought yesterday and a forward sling mount as well. If you have done this please tell us all how?
