A-110 Lever action shotgun.

Post by Jackboot_Johnny » 08 Mar 2015, 3:39 pm

I've posted this on a few forums but I figured that I'd keep spreading the word as its the kind of shotgun some regular A+B licence holders are after.

I stumbled across this shotgun being shown at the IWA & Outdoor Classic 2015 held in Germany (A shot show kind of event) this week on the internet and I thought I'd share it with you all.

I'd really like to have this for IPSC shotgun.

Can an Australian importer jump on this ASAP, thanks.

They look ok but the one big drawback to the design is the trigger finger can get injured on the trigger as the lever comes back into battery.
I don't like any weapon that can potentially injure my trigger finger . However with our stupid laws I agree it's an option .
If the higher mag capacity is done with an add on extension then I think mag extensions are illegal .

Smart looking lever gun.

Nice and modern without being wanky with tacticool stuff.

How often do people do that though? I've heard of one guy sticking his trigger finger but he was trying to do cowboy tricks with it.

I have seen it happen once with an old Savage lever if I remember correctly . Careful operators that train their trigger finger to stay out of the way will not have a big issue . Lots of things only happen rarely but it's still worth noting the possibilities so new shooters are for warned and will be able to a void it .
Í said I don't like the lever design , but I never said I would not buy one .

Do see the design flaw though and I wonder if there is a modern way of making the trigger fold up whilst the lever is down. Sounds like a fair bit of hassle though.

I see 2 gun shops in Adelaide and one In Murray Bridge all flogging these things on social media. All the same price $795 I might have a look but I cant see myself getting one, I love my side by side and find 2 shots are generally enough, and when I need more than 2 I can reload prety dam quick.

looks the goods though for a modern lever 12g

With all the excitement, it may be quite a long wait.

I get the feeling the factory may need some time to meet demand. I hope that, if they do, they don't cut corners and drop quality to meet the rush

I jumped on the Adler bandwagon today. Order is in at my local LGS H&S Firearms in Gippsland Vic.

20" $7xx +
28" barrel $2xx

A measly $x0 more than 'A certain Qld Dealer' is advertising for and without said Qld dealers expected $79 ++ postage rip
and without attitude and also without additional transfer fees that come with external buys delivered to my LGS.

It is Wayyyy cheaper to buy local if you factor all that in...plus no risk of being fcuked over.

And I do for every new purchase.

it IS cheaper not more expensive. No postage, no transfer, no fuel cost, no bulls**t, no long wait for a saving of $20 hahaha

Why would anyone bother trying to save $20 and pay up front and wait so that dealer can make interest on our money for most of a year while we wait ?

I didn't even have to pay a deposit because I am not a prick and my LGS know that, AND they are respectable and very decent too.
