Picked this up last week but only just tracked down some bases so that i could fit the scope.
Mossberg maverick mod. 95, 3 inch 12ga, 2 shot internal mag, synthetic stock.
Bushnell 1 - 4x AR scope, warne rings, weaver bases.
Currently has a smooth barrel but I've got a rifled one on order wich I'll get fitted eventually .
I put a few Winchester defender buck n ball shells through it the other day and was surprised how good the recoil pad was, i had previously shot some through my moss 395 and the ol shoulder copped a hiding, i was thinking of filling some of the stock with shot and resin to help with recoil but i might not have to.
Anyway thats the new toy, ill get out one evening this week and shoot a few different slugs and see how the go.

Strangely enough,I could've used something like this at times when doing bird control in the vineyards

Just bought this one, waiting for it to arrive. Going to fit rifle sights to it and try to regulate it for federal power shock slugs. Sort of a poor mans paradox gun

When we did bird control a lot of it was shooting red wattle birds, which looked a lot like noisy mynas and little wattle birds, and had a tendency to tree hop out of range. That long barrelled, tight choked, scoped maverick loaded with 34gm no6 loads would've been awesome for stalking the tree lines

My 37a is one of my favorite singles, I also have its siblings. Win 370, cooey 840, cooey 84 and the original win 34 all in 12ga and a 37a in 16ga as well.
There are still a couple of variants I'd like to add, a sears & robuck branded 370 and any others I come across.
But its well known that I'm a weirdo. In my opinion the Winchester 37A is the best shotgun in the world!

I'm a weirdo with ya! I had one when i was a kid, couldn't miss with it, so when i saw this come up at the local GS for $150 i had to have it. Point, shoot, drop, Love it!
