This is my Mossberg 12g bolt action. Cost me a whole $50. Bought it with a broken stock as a project gun. I made the stock from four layers of 12mm ply glued up with fibreglass resin then coated with more resin after shaping and painted. She's served me well since '96.

Nice one ND, not real fussed on the BA shotties myself but so long as she works and works well that's all that matters hey. :thumbsup: Very nice job on the stock too by the way. I paid $60 for the Boito SB, it was blued and a dark brown stain on the stock, I got bored one day and decided to get the sander out and give the stock a bit of a hit to see what was under the crappy brown stain, much happier with the more natural look then figured I'd get rid of the bluing which has some rust happening in places so took to it with some sandpaper and steel wool etc :lol:

She ain't no oil painting but she sure does get the job done very well indeed, foxes hate it and the clays get smashed 99% of the time she's pointed at em so she's ok in my books.

This is a fave of mine, it has the most elegant lines, and a very fine/slender wrist;

A perfectly good shotgun for the job intended hey mate, why spend good money to knock it around on a quad - that ol Boito of mine isn't anything flash but I tell you what she gets the job done very well on foxes and even clays, I don't take the Beretta out after them as this is lighter and easier to carry when you have a rifle along for the long range shots too.

Thanks for contributing OOW :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Yeah mate she's ugly and rusty but she still shoots s**t dead, wouldn't sell it for all the tea in China, probably only worth 50 bucks if that but my dad gave it to me many years ago and she's a keeper.

I hear ya mate, its funny how some of the cheapies hold such fond memories, I wouldn't sell my Boito either, she's just too handy and ain't worth anything anyway so might as well put the ol girl to good use on the foxes. :D

I'm boring, the ever dependable Remington 870

Does the job though.

I was offered a sweet deal on a near new Benelli M2, but couldn't justify 2 shotguns... at least until the boy is old enough.
