I am extremely particular when it comes to cleaning my shotguns to the point where, after each shoot I clean the gun until the inside of the barrels are mirror clean. I have recently purchased a new Beretta 692 and i have tried almost everyway possible to clean it but cannot seem remove the plastic from the bore completely. I have tried the boresnake, bronze brush, presoaked the bore with all the recomended products aswell as the drill down the bore trick. I have even made a special brush just for this purpose but havent yet succeeded. Even the guys at the gun store where ive purchased have had a go but found it a challenge and were going to ask the gunsmiths at beretta for some ideas. Does anyone out there have any thoughts on what else i could try?
