bc miroku 12 gauge shotgun purchase

Post by newgunner » 21 Jan 2016, 9:52 pm

hi guys/gals,
i have recently purchased a bc miroku 12gauge o/u trap gun. i have discovered it was made in 1980 ,has fixed chokes full and 3/4.
in almost as new condition, with very good woodwork and hardly a mark on it.
Just wanting to know if anyone knows where i can get spare parts for this older type gun, if the need should arise.
do any browning citori parts fit these?
i bought it because of its make and excellent condition ,and as a backup trap gun to my beretta 682 or maybe the other way around depending on how it shoots.
Are the older miroku shotguns still a good trap gun to use these days?
Probably a dumb question to ask,any gun that fits you right and shoots well, is a good gun.
i am not sure of the exact model i do believe it may be a model 3800 grade 3 from its stockwork and engravings on the action and trigger guard etc
just after some more experienced peoples opinions on this gun,and parts availabilty. The gun shop i bought it from said you can still get parts for these guns(rebel gunworks). they haven't ever lied to me yet.

thanks

Why the need for a backup gun to the Beretta 682 ?

Has it let you down before ?
