Yeah look at the condition she is in for an old gal not to shabby lol lol. im trying to find out what type of shotgun/model she is. on top of the barrel it is stamped with "ACCIAO BREDA B.4" and on the side of the barrel it is stamped with "ARMERIE PEDRAZZINI EUGENIO=GARDONE V.T <BRESCIA>".

i love this shotty, its the classic double barrel with hammers. so if there is anyone here that could possibly fill me in abouth this gun i would be greatfull

Not worth anything... send it to me....

OK..... seriously, Gardone Val Trompia, (Brescia) is the town/region Where Italian guns are crafted......

Sounds like the barrels are/were produced by 'Breda' (another maker)....I used to own a Breda Semi..... dont get me started

Looks good though....very cool hammer gun

Brescia is where the proof house. You can get date info from the proof mark as well but it should be stamped with something like "VII" which would be 1951 or "XVI" for 1960, etc.. There are also codes that tell you the type of choke on each barrel. I don't have that doc on this puter but have a search.. it's all online.

edit: bit more up to date info.

on top of the barrel it is stamped with "ACCIAO BREDA B.4" and on the side of the barrel it is stamped with "ARMERIE PEDRAZZINI EUGENIO=GARDONE V.T <BRESCIA>".

ACCIAO BREDA means Breda steel. PEDRAZZINI EUGENIO is the arms maker.

if im not wrong....

Its a Breda 12 gauge, grade 4 hammer gun,,,,,,, which was up there in its day,,,, no longer made......... 12 gauge, 2 and 3/4 in chamber,,,,, proofed for an ounce and a quarter........... will probably have a few other "proof" marks on the flats of the barrels.

The Breda company did a heap of different "grades" in the 70's and 80's...(excluding the failed semi auto) ....the amount of engraving gives it away...grades 5 and up,,,, had gold inlay etc etc....

a definite keeper.....

and use it....you will be so surprised how it shoots .
