I was just about to ask about the magtech shells lol. I'm not sure I can justify buying another gun so soon after my Marlin though.

Liege is the China of guns in the late 19th/early 20th century. They heavily pilfered UK manufacturers names, changing them slightly to differentiate - for example you could buy a W. Richards shotgun made in Liege, obviously this is a go at the Westley Richards name. That said, they were cheap and did the job, so they found their way into the cupboards of many lower end shooters of the world. Probably saved a million lives during the depression due to affordability. Of note, FN Browning came from Liege too.

$575, not a chance. You'll pick them up all day on usedguns for under $400, I've seen 410s go under $100 on there. BTW I have a Liege 410 in the cupboard, a blackpowder proof model, supposedly built in the 1870's but seeing as mark counterfeiting was rife amongst manufacturers who knows!

I'd buy it if i had room in my tiny safe and the spare cash... I quite like old things and i can't see the older shell size really hindering what i'd use it for.
