Adler 410g single shot

Hi. Just wondering if anyone has one of these?

https://www.nioa.com.au/products/view/MT204410

I'm thinking I might go and have a look at one at my local and perhaps pick one up for a bit of tin-can culling and bunnies with the boy. There's not much in the way of info out there except the marketing blurbs. Info says it's full choke, I'm guessing slugs will run through ok........

Ive got one, cheap simple shotgun that I throw in the ute when doing work around the property, shoots a little low but for $200 its well worth its money. It has a fixed full choke, presinaly I dont shoot slugs out of mine (as I have a slug gun) but it shoots everything else just fine.

Adler also make another single shot .410 model mt204 it comess with a fixed modified choke, most probaly the better option for slugs

Oooop! It's scary and black!

Is it "high power" too like the A110?

It's got an unlimited magazine. Once it's loaded, every time you pull the trigger it will go bang

The A110 is 12 gauge, this is 410...

410 divided by 12 it 34

OMG IT MUST 34x MORE POWERFUL!!!

So I got a chance to drop into my local today and had a look at the Adler. It's probably very functional but a bit too cheaply made for my liking. The shop had a second hand Savage model 42 in 22mag / 410 fitted with a rail and red dot scope that looks like a lot more fun and doesn't have the full choke of the Adler. Looks like a winner to me.

Question time:

Suggestions on shot size for bunnies etc at out of the 410?

Recommendations on 22wmr ammo for small game?

Any experience using slugs out of the 410? Any chance they are effective on small (young) goats at short distances?

Cheers

I use a .410 with slugs to shoot unruly sheep that we have trouble penning (before slaughtering them) all my shots are under 40m and they drop like a sack of potatoes.

I would pick the 22mag powerpoint stuff. Shot for 410 you want size 7-9 for small birds. 4s for birds like crow size and rabbits. BB for foxes. N4 buckshot I would recommend for goat/pigs.
