Picked up my new Baikal hammer coach gun last week. Gotta say I'm pretty bloody pleased !
Shooting shot, well, its a shotgun. Does it well, even if I don't shoot IT that well.
Came with 3 chokes, full,¾, and improved cylinder I believe. Seems to shoot patterns to match.
Where its amazed me at least is how well it shoots slugs ! I bought some pretty cheap federal powershok rifled slugs to try,10 to be exact, and they were that accurate out of the IC barrel at 40m that I just had to try them at 60m. Bugger me dead if I didn't get a 5 shot 5 inch group ! And right where I was aiming !
Now heaps of people piss and moan about hammers being unsafe coz allegedly they can be cocked by accident. Well, A: it really isn't that easy as the hammer actually has to go below the level of the stock, and B: its got an automatic safety anyway ! So its actually twice as safe as a regular shotgun !
Anyways,some pictures
