The ability of a barrel to handle a particular projectile is simply a function of projectile overall length and velocity.

! in 11 will be fine.

If there is a better option,,,,,,,,, what would it be ?

You guys are making me have a re think.
So do I look for a 1 in 11 or is there something better ???

.308 is generally 10"-twist.
I would try them before assuming they won't work.

I wouldn't be rebarreling the rifle just yet.

Well I solved the problem,,,,,,,,,, pretty simple really.
I just this morning bought another rifle with a 1 in 10 twist barrel .

I just needed a good excuse to get another toy I guess. :lol: :thumbsup:
