mate, i'm that cave man i don't have apps on my phone . but i'll try to get it as i really want to share my new toy with everyone on here . my rem didn't have too many extraction issues during fire forming , but enough that i will need the sako extractor . i had to get that done on my 222 , but it was flinging cases into my scope and bouncing back into the mag . cut one coil of the plunger spring and it's been reliable ever since . not perfect, but reliable . the speed of opening the action and pulling the bolt back makes a difference . i've been researching rem 700 extraction/ejection issues and they can be fussy things at times . lots of american smiths tune this function in rems with different springs and plungers . i'd build on a weatherby/howa rifle , but their a bit heavy for offhand shooting compared to the rem 700 . it's just the perfect weight and balance for me . tikka's are really good , but top feed mags are less fussy for me .
now , back on topic, i've got formed cases , so warmer loads will be tested in coming weeks . 87 and 100gn speer hotcor's show accuracy potential , and their cheap

as premium bullets go, i've also got 85 and 100gn nosler bt's to try . supposedly these are silly accurate and the 100gn bt are a good "all round" bullet that handle pigs well . the nosler's expand well but not too rapidly in the 250. has something to do with their design for use in the faster 25-06 . apparently

from everything i've read , 2206h works with 1-14 twist 250 savage , 2208 for 10 twist . some crossover with the 85's with powder choice . man i've got some load work to do .
might have to buy a 22wmr and just go shoot sh!t and not worry about cases and reloading
