Quick load

Post by Splitnecks » 09 Aug 2024, 10:03 am

Hi everyone new member first time poster hear
Was wondering if anyone hear has quick load or another program that can crunch a few numbers for me and estimate what sort of pressure I’m getting with a rifle I’m loading for ??
Rifle is a martini cadet in 219 ackley zipper with a 28 degree shoulder
I’m making brass out of 5.6x52r cases
My fire form load is 27.5gr of ar2206h and a 40gr vmax bullet that’s about as much powder as I can get in the case and the shoulder is 99% formed so I’m happy with that
I have loaded up to 29gr of the same powder and bullet in the fire formed cases which gives me around 3500fps shells are extracting fine and primers are not flat at all just wondering what pressure I’m getting
If anyone can help would be great
Do you need case volume/ overall length ??
I’m not good with computers
Thanks in advance for any reply’s
Cheers Brett

My understanding is that there is a team working on a new program.
But this is where you can download the original version.

https://www.grtools.de/doku.php?id=download

Invest a bit of time, and it will be easy to use.

Note: if you extract it to a flash disc works fine and no drama's.

Thanks for the link again ob. I thought I would give it another try on my phone. Usually if I download an app an icon appears on my desktop but I see none. How do I find it assuming I successfully downloaded it ? Where do I look ?

+1 For GRT if you get good enough with it you can input your own custom wildcat cartridges and chambers into it, plus it does have a massive selection of cartridges already in the system including some real oddballs.
I just wanted something here...
