, i came across something interesting in rugers lineup on the big C's website . now ruger make a compact 77 hunter with a 16" barrel 
, which that barrel length doesn't do anything for me . but what is interesting is they list 358win as a chambering ! now if that was available in a 20-22" barrel i might be interested whilst on the subject of ruger , they do special runs for lipsey's in the USA . one they did recently that made me seriously think was a ruger african in 35 whelen . absolutely gorgeous rifle. here's a review
