Top 10 selling cartridges sold by Olin Australia

So I emailed the guys at Olin ( Winchester ) to see if I get could get a list of there 10 top selling calibers ... I didnt think I'd really get a response as from a business point of view it is kinda nosey. And well I got a partial ( The guy was very polite about it, here it is

I guess the .223 should be no surprise, but it is nice to know the facts even if it's just those two.

You could make a reasonably educated guess buy looking what's on offer from the various rifle makers. Obvious ones would be...

.270
.308
30-06
300 win mag

They're all almost certain to be in the top 10.

Outside of those, probably drawing the last few from 204 Ruger, .22-250, .260, 7mm-08, 7mm rem mag, .25-06...

A few educated guesses there but I think it's fair to say those would all be top 10ish.

You're forgetting the thousands of rounds shot at clubs every week, the pistol club I belong to would go through at at least 2000 .22LR a week add to that 9mm, .32, .38, .40, .45, and 357, just remember it isn't unusual to go through a 100 plus rounds at the range where you might only shoot half a dozen depending on what you're hunting.

Starting on .223 as per OP's post my mind got stuck on centrefire calibres. My bad.

Even on rifles though, dunno how I forgot 22LR

22LR is would be #1 even maybe?

Aster I defo think your on the right track.In my part of WA the 25/06 is also coming in, in a big way. Id say in my little area it would be.
