Point Blank

Does anyone here use Point Blank? I've been using it for a little while now mainly as a database for my firearms and corresponding loads and logging my shooting results. I've found it a great resource for that alone but I'm curious to know how accurate their trajectory tables are. My local range only goes to 200 yards so there's not much chance for me to check the accuracy of the tables.

Here's a link to download the program for anyone who hasn't used it and is interested:

I used the older version quite a bit in the past as it printed nice A4 pages to keep in the folder for each firearm and load developed. Didn't much go on the newer version and switched to using the JBM Ballistics Calculators as they are much more accurate. Mainly the input required for local conditions give a more real output.

Point Blank is a little too basic to be really accurate.

I can't speak for Point Blank, but can give another thumbs up for JBM Ballistics.

I've used that for a few loads out to 500m and it's consistently accurate.
