Buffalo River 243

Everything I hear about the Buffalo River 87 gr vmax is very favourable. I wanted to get some for my new 243 on the weekend but the shop was out. It was either 100 gr soft points or 70 gr hollow points, I just grabbed two boxes of the 70s to see how they go. Anyone used these same rounds? Won’t be shooting anything bigger than a roo. I know they’ll obviously do the job, as does my 223, but just after some feed back, or wondering if I should just run them through and then find some 87s.?

Thanks Blr, another positive review. So I interpret that to mean that if I can find one of the cans of 480 in stock somewhere just buy it.
You should work in marketing for them.

Hi there
I have used all their stuff, and it’s not bad. Only used a few of the 100gr,
I prefer to load my own though. But for shop bought ammo it gets a tick from me.
I used to use the 70gr for foxes when they were a little further out. But now just use the 87gr V-max as an all rounder.

I have used the 87grn on a number of occasions with excellent results. Pre sighted in before hunting and a three shot group of .560" was the result at 100m.
Good ammo in my books.
