Cost definitely dictates for a lot of shooters.

If rimfire ammo grew on trees a lot more rimfire hunters would be using 17HMR or 22MAG.

They won't while it's triple the price of 22LR though..

If you can't afford 22MAG, you are in the wrong hobby.

My Rem 700 CDL 25-06 is my only hunting rifle. I think it's the perfect all-round calibre for Australia.
