Hi I recently acquired my Dads old 25-20 and was given a number of fired cases which I intend to reload, amongst these case I have came across 3 32-20.
Question is am I able to neck size down to 25-20 or just scrap to brass.

As far as I know you can just neck them down. You will need to check case overall length and adjust to suit, consistency among the group is more important than the overall measurement if you're looking for accuracy, plus some guns just like a catridge a little longer, shorter, etc.

Main thing is they're all identical, or at least as close as possible.

I'm a fan of the 32-20, I have a little 1892 Winchester in it from 1906. Shoots just fine. I load it with 78gn round nose hardcast from Blackwidow, .314" diameter. Very nice projectile backed with some 2205 or Trailboss - the latter nets a cheery 1200fps from 1cc of 'Boss. Perfect plinking or rabbit round.

You could , but why bother. There are new 25/20 cases everywhere at the moment. Just buy a new bag.

32-20 is the parent case for both 25/20 and the 22 Bee.

Well thanks everyone I found the answer. I have scraped the 3 cases squashed the mouth. So will take the advice and just buy new brass.

Three cases is sufficient genuine reason to buy another firearm.

Contact The Open Range in Toowoomba, they've got new brass for the 25-20.

Hello Guys
I was given a heap of 30-06 cases by a bloke who doesn't reload.
I don't own a 30-06. Don't need a 30-06, don't see any use for 30-06 :unknown:
So during lock-down, I trimmed washed sized the 30-06 cases.

What else was I supposed to do, I bought a 30-06

Now the brass won't go to waste

It's lucky he didn't give you a heap of 460 Weatherby Magnum cases then.
