12GA mini shells

These mini shells from Cleavers will be cool. Will be able to fit a lot more shells in the tube mags. They have slugs and buckshot. Great for kids to step up from the 410 and into the 12GA realm. :drinks:

The few people I've seen get these to work needed an apapter that fits in the feed ramp, otherwise they just jam the system.

I don't think they have much less recoil than standard shells firing similar loads at similar velocities.

Exactly. They're just taking out a heap of the wad in general. I've made a couple shorter than standard rounds before. Might make more to try in the citadel bt3000

I've been using 2" 12g shells for many years, the last few factory ones were Lyalvale but they have dropped off the radar here, and according to their website they may not be making 2" anymore so reloading is my only option. These new ones apparently have nickel plated shot, or so I have been told, but if one of you blokes buys some I would like know if you can see what the shot actually is as I can only use lead in my 1892 Bonehill. I did lend a few to a mate with a lever action and they didn't feed very well so perhaps some of these Turk straight pulls may cycle them, Cheers.
