Hey fellas, has anybody had any experience with these USA made barrels. In particular the Douglas air gauged premium barrels ?

Cheers

I had a shilen barrel in 308 fitted to my first smle. Was very accurate in spite of its platform

I don't know what Douglas barrels are like now but I had one put on a 308 Parker Hale many moons ago and it was good .
I also wore out a Shilen sporter barrel on another 308 . It was accurate but the gun it's self was un tuned , so not a great test .
For Hunting either barrel should be ok . For competition brands like Bartlein and Krieger seem to be popular .
Don't forget the Aussie barrel makers like RDT Products Tobler barrels . Swan Gunsmithing QLD . TSE barrels . One in Brisbane I forget the name .
