All well over 20 years old, the Warbird was intended to be a hunting cartridge, but the slightly shorter and slower 7.82 Patriot was used by Dick Davis in 1000 yard target shooting. Because short magnums were popular in the late 90's they also developed one called the 7.21 Tomahawk for short action rifles. They were quite prolific and gave JD Jones a run for his money in high velocity cartridges,

Take the velocity with a pinch of salt, you need to be shooting it on mount Everest to replicate. Everyone else uses sea level to compare velocity. I would choose the RUM case over these, they are something different however.

Yes, I suspected they might be using some very long barrels for those figures :-)

A guy on Facebook is working with a Firebird which is why I looked it up.
At US$9 a shot it's certainly a niche cartridge for the wealthy I think :-)

Probably 500 accurate rounds as in sub half inch
