I roll brumbies with 44mag but I dont try angles like you could with a 300mag .150m might test the range in any case. You'd want to ensure you have a decently accurate load.
Stout loads in 44 , like a 240XTP( BC of .205) at 1850fps if zeroed at 110m will be 1.75" high at 75m and drop 4.5" at 150, so the trajectory is there. Remaining bullet velocity will be 1300fps+, about the same as 44mag factory revolver at the muzzle.
