Fmj uses?

Came across some full metal jacket rounds I forgot I had, what are these things actually useful for?
Any good for hunting? or basically just range queens?

Head shots and for small game pelts.
Can also grind the points off to expose a flat lead metplat, or pull the bullets and seat them backwards.

Hmmm let's see so if your in hill country you can use them on animals with a bit of common sense but on the flat lands after it go's through an animal then there's sheep cows sheds machinery house's you name it I call them rubber bullets because they bounce like one .

Some ranges don't allow the use of full metal jackets because of what deye243 said .
When I was in the Military I could "obtain " some FMJ 7.62's now and then . I used to cut the meplat back and also pull the bullets and neck them down to 243 and adjust the powder load . Cut the meplat back until it's about .050 to .070 diameter and they work better on game .
