I think your question is more so whether any new chamberings will be developed, sorry, its a pet gripe of mine when calibre is confused for chambering; .308 is a calibre, 308 Win./308 Winchester is a chambering...
anyhoo, Yes, they will continue to produce more chamberings to solve all the future shooting problems we wont know we have until the solution is presented before us, as long as the sun rises in the morning and the mainstream manufacturers feel the need to market a new product.
The calibres are all pretty much sorted, as there would need to be a huge concerted effort between rifle and ammo manufacturers to produce a new calibre, ie. other than the accepted 0.17/20/22/243/25/27/28/30/32/338/35/375/40/429/45 etc
